MALICE CLIPS are not affected by heat or cold, and will never corrode or lose their subdued finish. HSGI Clips have the little "nubbin" and I find the polymer much more easier to manage as well for a stiffer clip and they're easier (for me) to thread and removed than TT Malice clips. I like how much more svelte and streamlined my kit is with this stuff. Not so much for the OP (I would use regular or Light Fight Malice clips on a vest), Velcro's One-Wrap is intriguing. I sure as heck wouldn't want to work with the long WTF straps that would drive me insane, but the short ones are tolerable and functional once you figure out to use them. Properly weaved, they have proven very secure. Edit: It took a pair of needlenose pliers, what remains of my fingertips, and not using the bottom row of molle but I got those bastards on there. Would appreciate some advice from those with similar experiences. WTF straps are a PITA to figure out, but once you get them started, I much prefer these for MOLLE webbing on battle belts. The Esstac is a double 5.56 KYWI, the belt is VTAC battle belt, the malice clips are malice clips. I had a bunch of standard malice clips and hate them for belt use.they just suck for that application, now, TT's Light Fight Malice clips are a little better.
